Laal Singh Chaddha Review and Controversy :
Social media has been in a frenzy over this film for the last few days, calling for a boycott of the film and calling it a full remake film. Also, Aamir Khan’s much-awaited film Lal Singh Chadha acting is called a mix of PK and Dhoom. Those who are fascinated by Hollywood movies and also watched Forrest Gump once or twice very recently, then sorry, boss, this movie is not for them.
Although after watching this film two times, we realized Lal Singh Chadda is an 85% frame-to-frame remake of Forrest Gump, not 100% because, in this movie, team Lal Singh Chadda has removed the majority of the dark side and sex Sean from this film.
Also, they have changed the scenario per the Indian audience, like the American war, which changed into the Indo-Pak Kargil war. We have seen multiple changes and cuts from the original movie. As per the Indian audience, this conversion was the most challenging part of this movie, which was done very poorly by the Lal Singh Chadha team. They tried to sympathize with a character who is a terrorist. This is unforgivable. In the original movie, this thing was not there.
The movie is based on four characters. The first one is the hero or the main character Lal Singh (Amir Khan), and the second heroine is Rupa; Kareena Kapoor plays the role of Rupa. The third one is the character of Lal Singh’s mother, played by Mona Singh. And the fourth one is Lal Singh’s soldier friend Naga Chaitanya who played this role.
The boy Lal (Amir Khan) was born as a special child. Who’s legs and mind are pretty weaker than the other child. She couldn’t walk properly during childhood, and he was not so good at memorizing. In the film’s first part, when everyone insults little Lal Singh, only his mother stands by him, gives him courage, and says he is not a special child. He is an average child like others.
Also, Gradually, his mother taught him to do all the work by himself and to stand on his own feet. Day by day, Gradually, the boy overcomes all the challenges and joins the college. He overcame childhood hurdles and won several races, and later joined the Indian Army. During his army life, he fought against Pakistan in the Kargil war, where he saved several lives during this battle. Even He saves the life of an enemy during the war, who later becomes a good person and devotes himself to the progress of education in Pakistan(this is the worst part I have ever seen).
The film’s ending could have been a little better; according to social media users, in the end, we saw Rupa (Karena Kapoor) run into trouble and our hero Aamir Khan got him out of that problem. Various looks of Aamir Khan are shown in the entire film. This is good on the one hand, and on the other hand, it reminds viewers of some old movies like pk and Dhoom. Aamir Khan’s expression has become very similar in recent films Giving a wide-eyed look, Making strange noises from his mouth.
Even after so many cuts and changes, Lal Singh Chadha is 20 minutes longer than the original Forrest Gump. As a viewer, if you haven’t seen Forrest Gump yet, then you should try this one; the movie is for you. But if you already watched Forrest Gump and adopted it in your mind, then this movie is not for you. It will be better to watch Rakshabandhan, acted by Akshay Kumar.
The message is not very good for society, unlike the real one. But in the hidden meaning Here, they sympathize with terrorists, worst acting and intelligently promote woke mindset. People in society think you have to be very smart and clever to do anything in life, which is largely proved wrong by the producer here. This film shows that a sound mind and honesty are enough to do good things for society. Also, they tried to say that nothing is permanent in our life to change any situation. We have to face this, and we have to fight the problems.
Which one do you need to watch on this independence day, Raksha Bandhan or Lal Singh Chadda?
Coming from the main point, Lal Singh Chadda is a journey of a special boy who fights against society. How he recovered all his problems and fought against society and, in the end, did some good things for our country. On the other hand, Raksha Bandhan is also an average cinema. Raksha Bandhan shows the ups and downs of the life of brothers and sisters. This is a pretty average movie but better than Laal Singh Chaddha.
So I would say if you have already watched Forrest Gump, please don’t waste your money on Lal Singh Chadha; then you must watch Raksha Bandhan. But if you are a die heart fan of Amir Khan, then we know nothing can stop you from watching this Lal Singh Chadha. But Raksha Bandhan is also a good one by Akshay Kumar.
