Hostel Daze Season 2 is a comedy-drama series originally created by TVF. Hostel Daze Season 2 has a total of 4 episodes titled D.I.S.C.O., Love-Square, Gandagi, and Ghar Wapsi.

All 4 episodes showcase different topics which happen in a hostel life and through which almost every hostler goes through. Hostel Daze series is one of the most honest series about hostel life with some exaggerations.

How seniors rag juniors, then how everyone becomes family for each other, the environment inside a hostel is decently shown in this series. The beautiful thing about TVF is that they always try to make the viewers understand the feelings with some comedy gigs.

Hostel Daze Season 2 Review: Episode 1 – D.I.S.C.O

In Hostel Daze Season 2 Episode 1 of the Hostel Daze Season 2 is all about Raging, how seniors who were ragged by their seniors now rag their juniors. Raging was introduced as a fun way to introduce juniors to seniors but later some students took raging to another level so that so, that the government had to ban it from the colleges.

TVF always tries to make us understand one thing from very bizarre but relevant examples, same in this episode they tried to make the viewers understand raging from the point of view of street dogs.

Seniors made juniors do some bizarre things while trying to get their intro, and when they try to seek the help they land up in a trap which lands them in trouble in the girl’s hostel, where girls rag them. But after all of this they all generate a bond between them.

So, the title D.I.S.C.O. represents two things here, on which the makers directly tell us which is, DIScipline COmmittee, and the second thing which indirectly been showcased to us is the Disco which Seniors made juniors to do.

Hostel Daze Season 2 Review: Episode 2 – Love-Square

In Hostel Daze Season 2 The second episode of the show is all about the struggle a boy faces while approaching a girl and his struggle of confessing his likeness to the other person, and the conflict between two friends over a girl.

Jaat likes a Unnati and wants to propose her, Jaat and Ankit tried to approach Unnati in the college sports ground but Jatin (Jhatoo) stops him and tells him that it a bad idea to just go to a girl and say that you like her, because Jaat is a small town boy who is not that smart.

But then Jaat sees Jatin approaching Unnati which created a conflict between them. Ankit suggets Jaat that before approaching a girl you first have to approach her best friend by that it will be easy to approach the girl you like.

Simultaniously Jatin is going gaga over Unnati fixing a meeting with him, and Jatin humiliates Jaat for the same reason. On the next day Jaat tries to talk to Unnati’s best friend and her roomate Charu.

In that process Charu also developed a crush over Jaat because they both have a lot common between them. On the other hand Unnati is also doing the same thing that before approaching Jaat she approaches Jatin, because Unnati also has a crush over Jaat.

And ultimately Unaati, Charu, Jaat and Jatin they all endup being friendzoned because of all this complications.

Hostel Daze Season 2 Review: Episode 3 – Gandagi

(Hostel Daze Season 2 Review) For anyone who has been into a hostel life, knows that how dirty and unhigenic a person stays in hostel life. Same is showcased in this episode.

Ankit has a crush over Akansha from the season one of the series and now he got to know that girls like things to be clean and hygenic, so he also transforms himself as an well mannered and hygenic person with the help of Chirag.

But Akansha does not seem to be impressed by him instead she starts to ignore him and one day she tells him that things between them will not work out as they both are very different from each other.

Then Ankit directly appraoch Akansha in Girl’s hostel by visiting her room, but Akansha does not let Ankit in her room. Ankit forced Akansha to let him in the room, there he see that Akansha’s room is also a mess.

There they have thier first kiss.

Hostel Daze Season 2 Review: Episode 4 – Ghar Wapsi

(Hostel Daze Season 2 Review) After surviving the hostel days when a peson goes back to their homee, the struggle they feel there can be undersood by many of us, because most of us have been through these feelings.

We feel incomplete at our home because we all loves the independence we had at our hostel life. One can make his or her own decisions, thath liberty we do not get at our home. And we all miss pur hostel friends badly.

The 4th and the final episdoe of the series is the most emotional one. Ankit, Jaat, and Chirag all leave for thier hosue for vacations and only Jatin left at the hostel, but none of them enjoy that phase of being at home and they all miss eachother’s presence very badly.

The episode and the series ends with the reunion of all friends at the hostel.

Hostel Daze Season 2 : Is The Show Really Worth Your Time?

In Hostel Daze Season 2 as the title of this article suggets, Hostel Daze Season 2 is a very idiotic show. Only those who have been into hostel life can enjoy this show, but if someone who has never been into a hostel will not enjoy this show at all.

The first season of this was a lot more enjoyable then the 2nd season, becasue in the first season the real days while being in a hostel was shown, but in the seacond season the makers only glorify all the bad habits a person has during their hostel days.

The content of this show is very sexist. If you are a boy then you must be dirty and disorganised, and if you likes to stay clean and organised no one will be friends with you, that is what this show glorifies.

There are so many problematic things with this show. It feels like the makers wants to defend all the bad habits and tries to justify them and tell that it is ok to be like this. Even for those who have been in a hostel this series becomes senseless.

So, if anyone who has been a hostler, there is a chance that, that person will enjoy this show, and other than this there is nothing good in the show. At some places this show does becomes enjoyable, but no one can deny that this show is one of the most idotic shows of TVF.
