Ping Pong the animation is not just a show about table tennis, It’s about people who play table tennis. This is the only anime where I can’t find any main character because Every character is equally important. Manga was written by Maasaki Yuasa and anime was adapted by Tatsunoko Production.

This is far more than a table tennis game; it deals with various psychological aspects like anxiety, depression and adulthood of a game because it tries to reveal the reality of the human mind. The director shows us all the things beautifully.

If you expect the same thing from this like another generic sports anime, you will be disappointed for sure because it has its own uniqueness. Can you imagine it has no protagonist? When you don’t have a protagonist to compare yourself to, you find reality. Sometimes it feels like a documentary.

Haikyuu contains everything that a sports anime should have.
