The story grows around 25-year-old American Lucy studying in Taipei, Taiwan and she is tricked into working as a drug mule by her new boyfriend. After an incident, she is enabled to use her brain at 100%. What happens to her? What happened next to her? To know this answer, you must watch this movie.
The acting of Scarlet Johansson is incredible. After watching this movie, you will get that she is one of the high paid actresses of Hollywood. The other part is not that good but decent. The storyline and acting will hook you easily. That makes this 10th Best Hollywood Sci-fi Movies on my list.
9. Looper :

Do you know about Grandfather Paradox? If not, then I am telling you about that first. What if a scientist invents the time machine and he travels into the past and kills his grandfather. Now, his grandfather is dead in the past timeline, then how he comes to Earth and invent the time machine, if the time machine is not there, how he killed his grandfather. This story based on this topic. Isn’t it amazing?
Looper is a sci-fi movie. In 2044, 25 years old, Joe works for a crime department In Kansas City as a “looper”. Future tracking systems are so advanced that it is nearly impossible to dispose of victim’s bodies. Here comes the concept of using time travel to dispose of the body in the past. Abe from the future manage that thing; loopers kill and dispose of victims whose faces are concealed. These assassins are paid with silver bars that are strapped to their targets.
After that, I don’t say anything about the story because I don’t want to spoil the movie for you. This movie is full of mind-boggling and amazing action moments that will hook you for sure.
This movie has an amazing ending. This movie tried to answer to stop this paradox? If you want to know that, then you must watch that movie. That uniqueness make this movie one of the best hollywood sci-fi movies. That makes this 9th Best Hollywood Sci-fi Movies on my list.

This is an action thriller sci-fi movie. The story grows around a soldier who is awakened in a different body. After a few times, he knows that he is a part of a govt mission to catch a bomber on the train. He has only eight minutes. What happens next? What does he do? Can he catch the bomber and save the people? If you want to know the answer, you must watch this movie.
This movie has a unique concept to prevent future incidents. That makes me crazy. The Screenplay and the storyline of this movie is totally unique and gives you an amazing 2hours experience of 8 minutes journey. This storyline is surely better than you thought. The acting and camera work is great. That deserves the 8th best sci-fi movie on my list. You should definitely watch this movie. That makes this 8th Best Hollywood Sci-fi Movies on my list.
7. 2001 a space odyssey :

This is another great sci-fi movie concept which tries to explain evolution in a different way. This movie story began with a giant monolith that appeared on Earth a long day ago. That thing started to experiment with Man-ape, probing and developing their minds. One of them started to walk properly. At night, a few select man-apes were taught, and during the day, they innovated.
If you want to know what is monolithic? Where did it come from? What happens next? To know the answer, you must watch this movie.Acting, storyline, Production design, Screenplay all are wonderful enough to give you an incredible experience. The unique storyline makes it interesting. Isn’t it? That Crazy things make this movie one of the best hollywood sci-fi movies. That deserves the title of 7th Best Hollywood Sci-fi Movies in my list.
6. Arrival :
Rating : 8.5/10
12 alien Spacecraft land on different locations on Earth. Aliens want to communicate the humanity. How humanity communicate with them? Can they harmful to humanity? To know this, you must watch this movie.
If you think that this movie is packed full of Action, you may wrong. This movie is totally different and Unique from any sci-fi movie. That makes this movie awesome and visually great with a wonderful story. The cinematography and Screenplay is awesome.
Sometimes it may feel you slow but wait for the end. I am telling you that you will have to search for the ending explanation on YouTube after seeing the ending. That concept make this movie one of the best hollywood sci-fi movies and that makes this 6th Best Hollywood Sci-fi Movies on my list.
5. The Martian :
Rating : 8.8/10
In 2035, Nasa arranged a space mission to send Human to Mars. 4 astronauts selected for this mission, and they successfully landed on Mars. Immediate after their landing, a severe dust storm threatens to topple their Mars Ascent Vehicle (MAV). The mission is immediately closed, and NASA gives the order to return on Earth. The all-crew member evacuated, but Watney left behind because he lost in the storm and his bio-monitor is stopped working, and they are presumed dead. They leave him behind.
After they go, Watney finds himself alone on Mars. Can he have survived? Can he go back to Earth? If yes, then how is it possible? To know the answer, you must watch this movie.
I have never seen that type of story after Interstellar. That makes me crazy. The cinematography, acting and storytelling, Screenplay all are crazy. That deserves the 5th place of the best Hollywood sci-fi movies. That visual of Mars make this movie one of the best hollywood sci-fi movies. That makes this 5th Best Hollywood Sci-fi Movies on my list.
4. Inception :

Inception is directed by Scientist film director and one of the great Christopher Nolan. This story is based on stealing an idea from dreams. Wait! What! Stealing dreams? Isn’t that sounds crazy? When you see this movie, you will become a fan of the Director. This movie force you to think about implementing the concept.
Cobb and his team steal an idea from dreams with the help of a gadget, and we all know that our subconscious mind helps us see dreams, and Cobbs goes into the dream and steal the ideas from the subconscious mind. One day our Cobb stuck in trouble, and he wants to get out of it desperately; that’s why he takes an impossible task. The task is not about stealing; it’s all about planting an idea into the subconscious mind.
How they do that? Are they successfully done it? Want to know those answer you have to watch the movie. This Movie is totally Mind-boggling. If you want to understand the movie, you have to focus on every word they say.
Acting, Direction, Stunts, Screenplay, Unique and amazing concept, Beautiful cinematography give You an awesome feeling when you understand the movie that makes you crazy.
Can you imagine that movie doesn’t use that much CGI! This is a Masterpiece and Beyond Imagination Movie, I have ever seen in my life. You will get an edge of the seat experience. 3. Interstellar :

Another back-to-back Christopher Nolan’s directed movie. Well, I know; now your expectation is very high. Okey. Just think, What happens if we enter into a black hole? This story is based on this. Interesting, right?Scientist and Everybody who knows about physics love Blackhole.
We human is always cautious to know the unknown. This movie tries to explore it properly with the rules of physics. The story starts with a cosmic disaster, and there is the only way to survive, and that is Interstellar Travel. Our protagonist Cooper goes on a journey to explore the black hole through a wormhole with NASA’s help.
Can You imagine the Directorhired a Nobel prize-winning physicist for this movie! In this movie, Gargantua’s Blackhole is really made from a real equation from that physicist, and Director makes the software especially for rendering that black hole. This is Crazy! Isn’t it?
Those things make this movieepic. This is a visually stunning movie that is Unforgettable, Unimaginable and Unbelievable. This is a must-watch that make this one of the best Sci-fi movies of all time. That concept, crazyness, Story and that type CGI all make this movie one of the best hollywood sci-fi movies and That makes this 3rd Best Hollywood Sci-fi Movies on my list.

The Matrix Series are well known for the Sci-fi and action genre. The concept of the movie is about your existence. If you want to realize your existence, you must watch The Matrix Series. The Matrix series sets a Milestone for the sci-fi genre both. In the 90’s era, this movie used the best visual effects and action stunts that will amaze you at every moment.
The main character Neo starts to ask questions about his existence. Then he goes on a journey to find the answer. In his journey, he faced too many opponents and wanted to defeat them for a better future. I don’t want to spoil the movie because this movie is totally incredible.
Acting, Sound Editing, Cinematography, Incredible storyline, Shocking fight sequences, direction. The screenplay will be amazed you every time. But this movie shows its greatness flawlessly every time. It doesn’t give you any time to criticize it. All of the things are just perfect. That perfection makes this movie insane it take the place of the 2nd Best Sci-fi movie on my list.

James Cameroon’s Avatar is one of the greatest sci-fi movies of all time. Just think; Usually, we see in movies that Aliens come to Earth to attack us or communicate with us, but what happens if we, human civilization, go to another planet. We become an alien for them who already live in there .
That movie shows you the human civilization, started a journey to another living planet and used another planet for living. That planet has also had a civilization, but We don’t care about them, and we also harm them like an evil alien.
We can see living civilizations of the planet are very peaceful and innocent, and they love their nature and respect their cultures and rituals. Still, we cruel human want to destroy their nature as we did with ourselves.
Alien on this planet teaches us what real humanity is. This movie teaches you a lesson on how to love nature and keep growing without harming nature. That makes this movie amazing. You can actually attach with every character and relate and compare with us. You fell in love with civilization and feel the real importance of nature.
How they interact with nature and give value and respect to everything they have got makes you emotional. This is amazing, wonderful and Mind-blowing to see. I have never seen that type of beautiful and heart-touching sci-fi movie. This has to be number one on my list because it is number 1.
Pleasing and amazing visual, beautiful scenes, wonderful, touching storyline, great cinematography, Incredible direction, Soothing background music and all things are just perfect. This best hollywood sci-fi movies is an experience. I don’t have enough word to explain my emotion. This movie seems like it comes from the future. All of these things make this 1st Best Hollywood Sci-fi Movies on my list.
